Food is not just about fuel and nutrients; it is about making memories, easing emotions and feeling love.

THE PROBLEM IS:
DIET CULTURE LEADS US TO BELIEVE THAT A SMALL BODY IS THE ANSWER TO ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS.
Our 12 step framework approach works with the mind and body and teaches you to move out of survival mode and realise that recovery is not about strength or willpower, but rather about science and safety. In Finding Food Freedom we delve into the science behind why we might keep turning to behaviours that cause them distress and how to overcome this gently and tenderly, using the body as ally, not an enemy.

We have supported thousands of individuals with this method.
Finding Food Freedom is available via our online platform and our app; it consists of 12 main steps broken down into easy to absorb bite size chunks.
Each step is in written format, with a watchable video, audio and downloadable E-book; so you can choose how you would like to learn. Finding Food Freedom is interactive, after each mini step you will be met with prompts to support you to support you to tune in an integrate the guidance into your everyday life.

We include resources such as example meals plans, coping skills guides, worksheets and journal prompts to give you easy to access tools to use.

We also invite you to send questions in for our monthly Q&As so we can support you along your journey.
Attuning - Nourishing - Exploring
During steps one to three you will learn how to move out of survival mode and how being there impacts your eating behaviours. You will explore how to nurture yourself with nourishing foods and the role food can play in other areas of your life. You will start to gently explore where your thoughts about eating, body image and food came from and how to overcome these with compassion.


Attending - Embodying - Reflecting
During steps four to six you will start to understand why you experience your body image the way you do and build coping skills to tolerate moments of distress and discomfort. You will learn how to connect with yourself so you start to rebuild the relationship with your body and learn how to reframe unhelpful beliefs to support you on your journey.
Learning - Stretching - Releasing
You will learn how to navigate social media and other forms of media so it no longer feels trigger or mood altering. You will learn deeper skills to tolerate anxiety and fear so you can spend the majority of the time feeling safe, connected and calm. ou will learn how to bring more play, and rest into your everyday life so you no longer need to turn to disordered behaviours in an attempt to meet your needs


Consolidating - Connecting - Concluding
You will learn how to create new habits and patterns in your life that make you feel good and allow you to move away from behaviours that feel unhelpful. You will explore the major aspect of food freedom that is often missed out, the aspect that has the ability to switch on and off different genes. You will learn skills and coping strategies to invite more joy and gratitude into your life and learn how to reflect on your journey to food freedom.

We work holistically with mind, body and spirit in our Finding Food Freedom course, we lean on applied polyvagal theory to create more safety within the nervous system so experiences of anxiety decrease. We teach you how to tolerate feelings of distress when making these changes and lead with gentleness and compassion.
We provide you with coping skills E-books as well as mediation, journal prompts and example meal plans.
