Holistic Therapy with Rachel
What is Holistic Therapy?
Holistic Therapy is for anyone that would like to create a deeper understanding and connection with themselves, others and the world around them. Perhaps you are feeling stuck, anxious or disconnection and can't seem to find a way forward, perhaps you feeling like something is missing in your life, or perhaps you desire to get to know yourself a little bit better.
How does Holistic Therapy work?
Everyone's journey is unique and what you focus on and how long you work together will depend on your personal circumstances. Rachel works integratively, meaning that she applies a varieties of theories and approaches including somatic / body based therapies, talk therapy from psychodynamic, person centred and cognitive approahes, inner child therapy, hypnotherapy, nature therapy, mindfulness and of course building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
You will always be the leader of your journey and Rachel will always hold you in unconditional positive regard.

Rachel uses a three stage model in her practice, beginning with stabilisation, safety and symptom management, moving onto deeper exploration and finally integration or reconnection to self, others and the world. Some individuals will work with Rachel for three months, others for three years. Sessions often start as weekly sessions but do not need to and often move to alternative weeks or monthly sessions.
Rachel works in 12 session sets which allows you to reflect and evaluate regularly. It can be decided at the beginning of therapy how long you wish to work together to give you clear a timeframe or it can be flexible, whichever feels right for you.
